It may sound odd, a permanent blitz? An unusual new hairstyle? But those permablitz characters in Castlemaine are quietly transforming the way some of us live, demonstrating the power of community, and cutting down how many times we have to drive a two-tonne steel portable living room to the shops for a bag of veggies.

Permablitz is where a group of like-minded people get together and transform the outside area of your home. It could be the backyard, the front yard, or back, front and sides, and maybe even the sunny parts inside your home.
