Inspirational music amid a sea of bicycles
24 March, 2011
A sea of bicycles will descend on the Botanical Gardens on Saturday, 9 April, highlighting Ghandi’s belief that: “We must be the change that we want to see in the world”.
Bicycle Riders will meet in Victory Park, Castlemaine at 6.15pm for a 3km ‘Slow Ride’ to the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens where they will be treated to a performance of moving images and live looping by Australia’s own bicycle riding cellist / looper/ composer, Kristin Rule.
As the sun sets, Kristin will take the audience on an extraordinary journey, exploring uniquely Australian perspectives, world influences realities, past, present and future, real and imagined.
All are welcome, with bike or without. Bring your own rug, chair and picnic and settle into this one hour experience celebrating the richness of life. To find out more about the performance and to secure your place in this highly unique event please visit:
