Community Wind Survey – ONLINE NOW – win a prize!
16 May, 2012
What do you think of a community owned wind farm in the Mount Alexander area?
Online survey NOW open.
This important survey is an opportunity to have a say about community-owned wind power.
The Mount Alexander Sustainability Group (MASG) are currently seeking community input into the vision of setting up a community wind farm project in the Mount Alexander area. They don’t currently have a site, but are starting with understanding what locals think of the idea.
People who choose to leave their contact details go in the draw to win a prize, generously donated by Zen Eden Produce and Cafe in Maldon. The survey is open until 31 May 2012.
Help the Mt Alexander Community Wind project achieve their goal of getting 600 survey respondents, by encouraging your family and friends who live in the area to do it too.
Mount Alexander Community Wind is a project of the Mount Alexander Sustainability Group. It is a vision for a small, community-owned wind park, able to supply a significant portion of local electricity needs with renewable energy and to contribute new sources of community funding.
For more information on the project, please visit www.masg.org.au/communitywind or visit us at 233 Barker St, Castlemaine, (03) 5470 6078.
You are also encouraged to sign up as Supporters (via website or in person), so the organisation can know the level of support they have to move the project forward.
A donation will also help us make this project a project a reality. All donations are tax deductible. The project is funded through MASG, grants and donations from people like you.
