PS5 has totaled sales for over 20 million units around the world: Sony has officially announced it, updating the numbers of its current flagship and also communicating that there will be a significant increased production for this year.
Compared to the 19.3 million PS5 figure made official just three weeks ago and updated at the end of March, the Japanese house was therefore able to place another 700,000 PlayStation 5.
“We are delighted to announce that Sony Interactive Entertainment has sold over 20 million PlayStation 5s worldwide,” said Veronica Rogers, senior vice president and head of Global Sales and Business Operations at SIE.
